As a dedicated group of men commissioned by the Second Baptist Church, and the aid of the Holy Spirit, to seek spiritual growth and knowledge for the advancement of men to the higher calling of God which is in Christ Jesus.

To assist in providing spiritual support one to another for the wives and widows of husbands who serve in ministry, as well as support to the mission of the Deaconess ministry of Second Baptist Church.

To assist the Pastor make each Worship service a success. We put the congregation in the right frame of mind to receive the message. Ushers meet the people with a pleasant smile, a warm welcome, and direct them to comfortable seat. The Usher also sees to it that perfect order is kept in and around the church at all times during services.

Mission Statement:
Concerning spiritual enhancements, is dedicated first and foremost to seeking and securing the salvation of every young person in Second Baptist Church. We will contribute to their spiritual enrichment, foster their spiritual growth and provide guidance and encouragement for their walk with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We support and supplement parental spiritual instruction, ensuring the Word of God is firmly planted in the heart of every young person. We commit ourselves to this task in total agreement with our Lord, not willing that any young person should be lost, and so that every young person will truly know the Lord and the mighty works of His hand.
